Our cookery class in Hampshire, thank you....

My wife and I enjoy our food so I was really pleased to be given Gift vouchers for “Create your own Menu” day with Beurre Blanc by friends for my 60th birthday. We chose the food we would cook; Scallops and Pea Risotto with Crispy Bacon, Rabbit Garlic and lentil Ragu and a Pear Tartin with Vanilla Clotted Cream and waited for Ally to arrive. What a great day it turned out to be. Ally is a really nice guy and brings all the ingredients and equipment with him on the day. After a ‘get to know you’ chat we got down to the cooking and we were quickly impressed with Ally’s mix of instruction and supervision; superbly balanced to our skill level and all done with a great sense of humour and fun. We learnt a lot of new techniques, got plenty of helpful tips and produced three super plates of food. 

The best thing for me was the extra confidence it has given us to try new things and we will certainly be cooking the dishes again for ourselves and friends.  We’d also recommend Ally and Beurre Blanc if you want a great day in the kitchen which leaves you with great recipes and the confidence to cook them.

We’ll be booking again in the New Year. Seafood first I expect. Cheers Ally it was great.
